Drain Doctors is pleased to provide customers with superior service and expertise in residential septic inspections and small repairs. All Drain Doctor services are performed by specially trained septic inspectors and technicians who have been trained and accredited through the Canadian Onsite Wastewater Institute. All services are authorized and overseen by our Registered Onsite Wastewater Practitioners (ROWP).

As an inspection company, we appreciate the magnitude of responsibility to our customers in providing them with honest and realistic information about the condition of the septic systems we inspect. Our inspections are 100% unbiased and are never undertaken with the intention of finding problems or exaggerating issues in order to garner expensive new installation or repair contracts. 

Drain Doctor Technicians want only to help you find and diagnose your septic system through detailed testing and inspection, followed by evaluation and recommendations by our Registered Onsite Wastewater Practitioner (ROWP). We make an informed, educated diagnosis with recommendations that are based on the science of the wastewater system, the property, and the home. Our reports provide you with detailed information and photographs about the components in the system, along with a list of recommended repairs and upgrades, and even ball-park cost estimates for the recommended repairs.

In addition to their training and experience with hydro-jet flushing, infrared thermal imaging, and CCTV scope cameras, Drain Doctor Inspectors and Technicians have specialized training allowing them to look beyond obvious plumbing, water intrusion, and drainage problems to really understand and analyze the level of impact these issues will have on the system, home, and structure.

Drain Doctor septic inspections are exceedingly thorough and are performed to the highest standards by Inspectors who have been trained and accredited through the Canadian Onsite Wastewater Institute. We are members in good standing with the WWCOWMA-BC, a chapter of the Western Canada Onsite Wastewater Management Association and as Registered as an Onsite Wastewater Practitioner (ROWP) with ASTTBC, the Applied Science Technologists & Technicians.

Sometimes an inspection reveals issues with the system but this does not always mean the system is failing or that it needs to be replaced. Many troubled septic systems can be brought back to good working order with economical repairs and proper maintenance. A detailed septic inspection will include exposing the major components  to assess the condition and the utilization of scope cameras and closed circuit television to visualize the inside of each drain pipe.

Our septic inspections involve the complete inspection and assessment of the septic tank, outlet pipes, distribution box, and septic drain field. Dye testing, infrared thermal imaging, and detailed inspection o the drain field with a 200 foot scope camera and closed circuit television are included in the fee. A complete inspection report with recommendations is typically emailed within 24 hours of the inspection.
